Yes, you can sell certain non-book items on PangoBooks, but only book-adjacent products, such as themed mugs, bookmarks, or items you may receive in a bookish subscription box.
đ ď¸ How to list a non-book item correctly
In your listing title and description, clearly state the item type (for example, âbookmarkâ or âdust jacketâ) so buyers know exactly what youâre offering.
Include clear photos that show the item fully
Do not include or scan an ISBN
If your sale includes a non-book item, you cannot use the standard PangoBooks-generated Media Mail label. Youâll need to purchase your own non-Media Mail label and then add your tracking number manually in your âSold Booksâ section under Add My Own Tracking Number.
PangoBooks is only able to reimburse the amount of the originally paid Media Mail label. If there is an expected cost difference between the PangoBooks-generated label and the purchased label, we recommend accounting for this in the listing price.
If the Media Mail label is used, the buyer may be required to pay an additional cost to retrieve the package, or it may be returned to the sender.
â What you cannot sell
Other forms of media, such as standalone DVDs, Blu-rays, VHS, CDs, etc., that are not accompaniments to physical books (for example, a language textbook that comes with a supplemental CD would be allowed to be sold).
Merchandise unrelated to books.
Any listing that misleads a buyer by showing a non-book item as if it were a book.
