If a seller asks you to send payment outside of PangoBooks (for example, via PayPal or Venmo) or asks you to pay additional costs beyond what is shown at checkout, that is not allowed under our policy.
Why this matters
All transactions initiated on PangoBooks must go through our platform’s payment tools and processing. This helps protect buyers by ensuring that purchases are covered under our payment, shipping, and refund systems. Keeping payment and communication on PangoBooks also helps to ensure both the buyer's and seller's privacy and safety. When a seller asks for payment off-platform or extra costs, they are in violation of our Community Guidelines.
What to do
If you receive such a request from a seller, please do not comply. Instead, contact our support team right away. You can reach us by using the chat bubble in the Help Center or by emailing support@pangobooks.com with the details of the request. We’ll review the transaction and take appropriate action.
