What if I can't ship within 3 days?

We ask that you ideally ship books within three days of the order. If you’re unable to meet that timeline, here’s how to handle it to maintain a positive experience.

💬 What You Should Do

  • Send the buyer a message as soon as possible from Sold Books to explain the delay and provide an updated shipping timeline.

    • Most buyers will understand when you communicate clearly and proactively.

  • If the buyer prefers not to wait, it’s best to cancel the order and issue a refund.

  • If seven days have passed since the purchase and shipping hasn’t occurred, the buyer may cancel automatically.

If there is an extended delay on an order, we recommend checking the sale before shipment to ensure that it is active and not canceled.
