While most orders on PangoBooks are shipped through USPS Media Mail, we do offer the ability for sellers to ship with Priority Mail for orders totaling $100 and over. Because USPS Priority Mail offers faster delivery times and insurance, this shipping option is great for PangoBooks sellers who want to attract high-quality buyers, who sell rare and collectible editions, or who just want to give users another reason to choose their shop.
The Specifics
As a seller, in order to have this option, you will need to opt in for this feature on your account by following these steps (please note that this does not become an option until you have $100+ worth of merchandise for sale in your shop):
Click on "Account"
Scroll down and click on "Learn More" on the blue box that says, "Opt in to USPS Priority Mail for full insurance on high dollar orders" OR click on "My Shipping Options"
You will be brought to a page that provides more details on Priority Mail shipping and will then check the box next to "Opt in for USPS Priority Mail Shipping"
Once opted in, you will be eligible to receive USPS Priority Mail labels and insurance for orders that meet the following criteria:
Total order amount $100 and more
All books in the order will fit within the size requirements of a prepaid USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate box.
You can order free USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes on the USPS website or at a local USPS location. Once you receive an order that matches the criteria above, we ask that you ship the book(s) using the correct Priority Mail Flat Rate box associated with your given label within three days of purchase. You will be responsible for this shipping cost. However, the benefit to you as the seller is that your order will be insured and will arrive at its destination more quickly.
If you receive an order of $100 or more but cannot fit all the purchased books in one USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate box, then your order will ship through USPS Media Mail (you'll still be covered by Pango's protection services).
Please note that by opting into Priority Mail and the accompanying benefits, you will also be auto-enrolling in free shipping for orders at the $100 threshold. By offering free shipping for your buyers, you will be providing an amazing experience when they spend $100 or more at your store and giving them just another reason to shop with you again!
