To make an offer to a seller, add items to your cart until you meet or exceed the store’s minimum for buyer-initiated offers. Then, select View Cart. Under the book(s) and subtotal information, select Send an Offer. Choose the offer price, add a friendly message to the seller if desired, and send the offer.

⏰ What happens after you send an offer

Once sent, a seller has 24 hours to decline, approve, or counter the offer.

  • If the seller approves the offer, it is sent back to the buyer, who has 24 hours to complete the purchase.

  • If the seller counters the offer, it is sent back to the buyer for 24 hours to either purchase at the counteroffer price or let the counteroffer expire.

🔎 How to review your offers

To review offers, navigate to Offers from the Account tab on the app or web.

Select Buyer. On this page, offers placed with stores are labeled Outgoing.

If you are also a PangoBooks seller who allows buyer-initiated offers, offers sent to your store will be labeled Incoming.

✅ Important notes about buyer-initiated offers

Not every seller allows buyer-initiated offers in their store. If a seller has opted in to accept buyer-initiated offers, you will see a banner on their shop stating that they accept offers.

Store-specific seller discounts and free shipping cannot be combined with buyer-initiated offers.
