A return address is required for all shipping labels generated on PangoBooks. If the package cannot be delivered or needs to be returned for any reason, the return address ensures the item can be sent back to you.
π« Can I Sell Without Providing an Address?
You can use PangoBooks' corporate address on your shipping labels.
You can opt in on either the app or on web. Once opted in, your account will still show your state as the "Ship from" state, but the return address on the label will be our address.
To opt in via app: Navigate to your Account tab and select "Shop Settings." Toggle the switch next to "Use Pango Return Address."
To opt in via web: Navigate to your Profile. Toggle the switch next to "Hide return address on label."
If a book is returned to sender, it will come to our team. We'll work with the buyer or seller (or both!) to find a resolution on your behalf.
π Why do you still need me to add a return address on my profile if I'm using the PangoBooks address?
We need a return address on your account even if you use the PangoBooks address so we can get any returns back to you. This address is also used to show to where the item is being shipped from. Some buyers like to shop bookstores closer to home!
π« Can I Use a Return Address Other Than My Home?
Yes. Your return address must be an address where you are able to retrieve mail. You can use a work address, a family member's address, or a P.O. box. Additionally, you can ask your local post office about alternative options for receiving returned packages safely.
