You can use promo codes in the app or on the website when you check out.
How to use a promo code:
1. Add a book to your cart: Select the book(s) you want, then proceed to the checkout screen.
2. Enter a shipping address
3. Apply your promo code
On the payment section, click the dropdown labelled “Pay with PangoBucks”.
Choose “Add a promo code” and enter the code.
After entering it, select the “Promo” option in the payment method dropdown.
The promo value will then be added to your account.
My promo code isn’t working. What should I check?
If your promo code doesn’t appear at checkout, or you receive an error message saying it’s invalid, try these:
Make sure you’re logged in to your account.
Disable any ad blockers or VPNs—these can interfere with the checkout process and the display of your account information.
Confirm you’ve entered a shipping address first, which prompts the “Pay with PangoBucks” field to appear.
Ensure your cart meets the minimum subtotal requirement for that promo code (before taxes and shipping). A yellow warning message appears if the minimum isn’t met.
If the code was sent to you via email as an automatic credit (rather than to be typed in), you may not need to enter it manually. Instead, select “Promo” as the payment method at checkout.
Confirm that the promotion is currently active. Certain promos may be announced via email ahead of their actual start times, leading to errors at checkout if applied prematurely. Conversely, confirm that your promo code hasn't already expired.
If the code is for first-time buyers only, and you cancelled an initial order—this may still block the code from working. Contact support to verify your account eligibility.

Promo codes do not discount the price of your order - they add credit to your account
Each promo code has a different minimum requirement for usage. Subtotals must also meet promo code minimums even after applying seller discounts, as these can lower the overall value.
If you apply your code during one checkout but do not use it for that purchase, make sure to click "Promo" as your payment method at your next checkout so that the promo value is applied. Check the expiration date and terms of the promo code before applying it.
Ensure the promo code applies to the items in your cart.
