Buyers have the ability to update their review for a specific order if something material has changed since the original review was left.
🤝 What Sellers Can Do
If you’re a seller and wish to see a review changed, you should message the buyer politely and ask if they’re willing to update their review.
If you have received a less-than-5-star review, we recommend publicly replying to the review. This feature allows future potential buyers to see both sides of an interaction and bring clarity and closure to the reviewer's experience.
PangoBooks can step in and remove or override a review only in rare cases, and only when something is clearly untrue, erroneous, or violating our Community Guidelines.
🧐 What “Material Change” Means
A “material change” refers to a meaningful change in the transaction since the review was posted. For example:
The item was replaced or corrected after the review.
The buyer’s concern was resolved, and they now wish to update their rating.
Our policy is to allow buyers to update a review if something material has changed since the initial review was left. If you are a seller and would like a review on your account changed, we recommend communicating with the buyer to ask if they are willing to do so.
In some extreme cases, PangoBooks reserves the right to remove or override a buyer’s review but will only do so if something specifically untrue or erroneous has been said.
